Hazards Of Using Smokeless Tobacco
Most people might have heard of smokeless tobacco, but they may not have any idea of the impact of these products. One of such products also known as the pouch tobacco is a stringy cut of tobacco. It is generally marketed in a pouch about 4 inches to six inches or so in size. The second in the list called the powdered snuff is a finely ground dry tobacco that comes sealed in tins or glass bottles. It is made use of by placing the powder in the mouth either by pinching it between the fingers of the hand or using a brush, which is actually a stick that has been chewed sufficiently to make a brush like end. Then, the wet end is placed into the bottle or tin while getting the powder on it. This brush is then placed inside the mouth. Another variant called the moist ground tobacco will be coming in round cans about three inches in diameter. This stuff is reported to have up to five times the nicotine level as tobacco cigarettes.
Plug tobacco is another tobacco product that comes as a block, resembling a sweet candy bar. But, the twist tobacco constitutes strands of tobacco that are made into rolls which are then twisted and wrapped in plastic. If one happens to unwind the twist, they would straighten to about 12 inches or so. Now, the question is whether smokeless tobacco is safe to be used in a daily way. The irony is that these tobacco companies give out the impression that these smokeless tobacco products are safe alternatives to cigarette smoking. But, this is not the case since smokeless tobaccos, like tobacco cigarettes, are definitely more addictive that their counterpart and contain high concentration levels of cancer-inducing chemicals.
